The Safari is a guided tour around the retail, brand and consumer landscape. Mortimer Singer, Traub Managing Partner, interviews the brightest and most innovative industry leaders who share how they are shaping and evolving the industry in the years to come. This week, Kate Klemmer Terry joins The Safari.
"There’s a shift in the online experience. You’re greeting different types of customers and one-size doesn’t necessarily fit all. You have to meet them where they are. That whole mindset is coming out more in what brands are doing today.”
Kate Klemmer Terry is the Chief Revenue Officer of Quiet Logistics, a logistics company specializing in providing a revolutionary approach to delivering exceptional brand experiences and winning over discerning customers. Kate has over 30 years of experience in the fashion industry working in merchandising, marketing and E-commerce for brands such as Polo Ralph Lauren, Banana Republic, Kate Spade, Coach, and Tommy Hilfiger. Most recently, Kate was running Dash Group NY, a consulting firm helping fashion companies with digital strategy - with clients such as Michael Kors, Tumi, Oscar de la Renta and J. Crew. At Quiet, she is responsible for driving the curation and brand strategy - as well as the client strategy function. We talk about: Quiet Logistics’ incubator program, shifts in the online experience, the importance of the discovery process in stores, her advice for young brands navigating global e-commerce, and more.
